Over the years Afscot have developed close relationships with the specialist hospitality insurers, Namely Bnb Sure, African Rand / Guestsure, H.I.U Consultants Pty Limited and more recently Santam and Auto & General. As a specialist broker we will do an accuarate needs analysis in order to ensure that your risk is placed with the most compatable insurer.

H.I.U. Consultants technical expertise is vast due to their history of dealings with many of the top Hotel Groups and with the smallest B&B owner. Afscot initially did not do much business with HIU as their marketing focus was not targeted on the B&B sector specifically until in October 2004. At that stage HIU thought of Ascot as competitors instead of partners.

To change this perception negotiations began between our Companies's with the view of forming a solid win-win Business partnership with HIU.

BnB SURE's Head Office is based in Johannesburg and started trading on 1 August 1999, this was done after 12 months of research and development together with B&B / Guesthouse owners to get an in depth understanding of their client's needs.

Guestsure is a product produced by African Rand for the Hospitality market, their Insurer for this product is New National Assurance Company Limited. They been established since 1 May 2004 so they are the more recent service providers for the Hospitality Industry.

Santam have only recently entered the hospitality insurance market with their new product called, "Tourism, Leisure and Entertainment Products". This policy caters for Hotels, Boutique and country (exclude large national and international Hotels.
