For many years Afscot Financial Services cc focused on providing service to Hospitality Establishments via BnB Sure only as their product was targeted at the B&B market. The risk profiles of B&B owners have changed substantially over the years, initially the bulk of B&B owner were more mature folk that had retired and wanted to continued earning an income as their children had left home they had space and decided to use that space for earning an income, hence the B&B industry.

Down the line the profile of owners changed and a lot more young folk started gaining an interest in the Hospitality Industry, final the market grew to where it is today with a mixed bag of serious Entrepreneurs of all ages all making successful businesses out of forming accommodation establishments.

HIU was introduced to the National Accommodation Association by Afscot and HIU subsequently became recognized as a service provider offering members discount on their insurance.

Afscot Financial Services' portfolio with HIU Consultants has grown substantially and as such have developed a close working relationship.

PRODUCTS:
HIU offer an all in one business & personal solution with no forcible and violent entry and exit clauses on their Bed & Breakfast and self catering policy's. Cover is available for buildings, contents, all risks, public liability, personal accident, sickness and credit card, motor insurance including passenger liability. After a proposal is accepted the risk is assessed and up front requirement in terms of the policy wording are requested to keep both parties risks protected.
